(Hannover, Germany) -- In recognition of design's growing influence on product development, CeBIT will present a new special display, "design:driving innovation", during its 4-9 March 2008 run in Hannover, Germany.The event is organized by iF International Forum Design in cooperation with Hannover-based Deutsche Messe AG and will spotlight such themes as
lifecycle, lifestyle and sustainability.
Located in Hall 27, "design: driving innovation" will demonstrate the interaction of technological and design-related innovations that are destined to have a fundamental impact on our future work and personal lives.
Topics include:
* Sustainable and innovative materials
* Products and services that conform to universal design criteria, i.e., user-friendly and cross-generational
* Visionary designs for new working and residential realms
* The latest product and fashion trends for different lifestyle cultures
* Eco design, i.e., products and services that are ecologically friendly and economically feasible
* Medicine of the future, i.e., the latest methods for prevention, diagnostics and therapy
* Concepts, products and visions for the mobility industry
