Virtual Computing: Businesses Can Save Money, Time and Energy with this IT Approach
By Dave Murray CEO, Convergence Networks | Fri, Jul 25 2008 | 01:07:50

Most of us have seen a magic trick where a magician can mysteriously make a rabbit appear from thin air. Then, suddenly the rabbit becomes two rabbits, and three rabbits, until finally the stage is covered with cute little rabbits running around. It’s very entertaining. Under the pressures of a struggling economy and demands for a greener environment, the advent of computing ‘virtualization’ could not have come at a better time. While it may be a big word, the concept is straightforward. Virtualization can take a lesson from the magician and turn a single server into multiple servers. This can be a huge advantage for small businesses, but it can be confusing too. Let’s break down some barriers to understanding virtualization by starting with some basics.

Eleven Ways to Infuse Your Company with the Leadership Skills to Thrive in Tough Times.
By Quint Studer | Tue, Apr 22 2008 | 04:04:33

The Quantifiable Lead – Bridging the Gap Between Marketing and Sales
By Tina | Wed, Nov 7 2007 | 02:11:58
There is a disconnect between marketing and sales departments. I have seen this over and over again. Marketing has a hard time knowing when their efforts have attracted sales leads, and marketing results do not always get back to the appropriate sales hands. This means lost opportunities…and lost revenue.

As Sales and Marketing Director for VisiStat, I am very familiar with this common – and repairable – issue. I spend much of my days counseling clients on how they can not only get their two departments connected, but also improve the return on their efforts like never before.

I love my job. There is nothing more satisfying than when I see the light bulb go on when people "get it" and see a clear picture of their sales and marketing efforts. Good, real-time mark
